Driving Lessons, Courses & Test Packages
By booking any driving lessons, courses, intensive courses, or driving test packages, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Bookings & Payments
• All lessons, courses, and driving test packages must be booked in advance.
• Full payment may be required before a booking is confirmed.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice, although confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.
2. Cancellation Policy
• A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange any lesson, course, or driving test package.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with at least 72 hours’ notice will not incur any charge and lessons can be rearranged subject to availability.
• Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
• Failure to attend a lesson, course session, or test without notice will result in the full fee being charged.
3. Refunds Policy
• Payments made for individual lessons are non-refundable once the lesson has taken place.
• Payments for block bookings, courses, or intensive courses are generally non-refundable. However, any unused lessons may be rescheduled or credited for future use, subject to availability and the instructor’s discretion.
• Refund requests for unused lessons, courses, or packages will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to deductions for lessons already taken at the standard lesson rate.
• No refunds will be given for missed lessons, late cancellations, or failure to attend without notice.
• If a lesson, course, or driving test package is cancelled by the instructor and cannot be rearranged, a refund will be provided where appropriate.
• Refunds, where approved, will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
4. Packages & Courses
Our packages and courses may include a combination of driving lessons, intensive training, use of the instructor’s dual-control vehicle for driving tests, and other services depending on the package selected.
5. Use of Instructor’s Vehicle for Driving Tests
The instructor’s vehicle will only be made available for a driving test if the pupil has demonstrated a safe and competent standard of driving.
The instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the vehicle if they believe that:
• The pupil is not at test standard.
• The pupil is unlikely to drive safely during the test.
• The use of the vehicle may present a risk to the pupil, examiner, instructor, or other road users.
This decision is made solely at the instructor’s professional discretion and is based on safety considerations.
If the use of the instructor’s vehicle is withdrawn due to safety concerns, any DVSA test fee remains the responsibility of the pupil.
6. Driving Licence & Legal Requirements
• Pupils must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence and must present it if requested.
• It is the pupil’s responsibility to ensure they are legally entitled to drive.
7. Fitness to Drive
Lessons, courses, and tests may be cancelled if a pupil appears to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication affecting driving ability, or is otherwise unfit to drive.
8. Punctuality
• Lessons will start and finish at the agreed time where possible.
• If a pupil arrives late, the lesson may still end at the scheduled time and the full fee may be charged.
9. Instructor Cancellations
In the event of illness, vehicle breakdown, adverse weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, lessons, courses, or test bookings may need to be rearranged. Any prepaid fees for the affected booking will be transferred to a new date or refunded where appropriate.
10. Liability
While every effort is made to provide a safe and professional service, the instructor cannot be held responsible for driving test outcomes, test cancellations by the DVSA, or circumstances beyond their control.
11. Acceptance of Terms
Booking any lesson, course, or driving test package constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
